UNLV Rebel Athletic Training Society at Work

On October 25th, Members of the UNLV Rebel Athletic Training Society (RATS) members were on site during the Las Vegas Cancer Awareness walk to ensure the route was clean and safe for the walkers and acted as first aid responders in case of an emergency. On October 17th, the senior students in the UNLV Athletic Training Education Program hosted a booth at the Henderson Community Expo as a service learning project for their organization and administration course. 2015 Athletes Saving Athletes 2nd Annual Walk/Jog Fundraiser Wrapup

Advocates for Injured Athletes (A4IA) hosted their 2nd Annual “Relay the Message” Walk/Jog-a-thon on May 2nd at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego CA.  This year’s message was to Speak Up about concussion signs and symptoms.  Along with the walk, there were booths with information on concussions, heat illnesses and sudden cardiac arrest.
